I'm so glad I didn't forget this...Christmas Tree

We have a member that grows Christmas tree's up in Boone. Every year we talk about gathering up a TBR caravan and making a day of it. We can contact 007, he owns the farm, and have him direct us to the special TBR trees. You know, the one's that are 15' high (think National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation).

It would be nice if we could all make a date, then meet each other's families up there. 007 promises he will take care of us, so I expect sleigh rides for the kids, Pete and Laura Hardee will supply the Hot Chocolate and Cider and the Watauga baseball players will cut down the trees for us.

I'm telling ya, this could be a great, great time; get a great Christmas tree, meet a bunch of fine people that you know through the board and enjoy a one day vacation up in the mountains, as well.

For those that are interested I will post a poll to see which date works best for everyone.

I know Stretchy has room for a couple of trees on his "Stretch" limousine

 

We need to get Southern, Stretchy, Grayben, F-3, Coach Evans and all those other great folks from Raleigh and out East. We could establish a meeting point
