No way Braves! At a National Wiffle Ball Individual Super Hero Studs Only Showcase (otherwise known as the NWBISHSOS), I once posted a negative time. The only one that has ever been recorded, so I am told. I've broken many a record (33 1/3, 45, and couple of 78s)!

That's pretty impressive Catcher. But I actually did have a negative time posted in the International games....but it was wind aided, so they didn't record it.

As a pitcher, I was noted for my specialty pitch--The Corkscrew. I would release it at the top of my delivery, then slide to the ground forcing the ball to have a tight spin. The ball would start with a large circle that would get tighter after each spin. After 8 revolutions the ball would end with a dip towards the plate....unhittable I tell ya.

The pitch led me to be nominated for the National Wiffle Ball International South Arabic Far East Puerto Rico Hall of Fame. The Azbekistan judge played politics and I didn't get selected, but I got my revenge. I have decided to never visit Azbekistan.

    Good Fun, BUT....

Type of Bat: Plastic (no tape allowed as I have found illegal bats in the past. Loaded with wet newspaper and
    taped)
Steroids: are OK...only you can't have help from
your team mates or trainers while partaking!
First Team Name: The Plastic Bags
Pitch: True wiffle ball, the one with the holes!

Funny Story or maybe a sad story:
Helped a friend out by doing a special practice for his
travel team. 11U kids. The night before I made an
outline of what I wanted to accomplish the next day and
stayed pretty much to the plan. Worked the kids around
2.5 to 3 hours and covered a good base so my friend
could build his team upon. I felt really good about
what just happened, but as soon as practice was over,
The kids brought out a wiffle ball and bat and the REAL
GAME was on. We stayed about an hour watching them
play and have the best time of their life, with NO
parent or coach interference. That is why I think we should "FOR REAL" start a wiffle ball league.
Here is a link to a real league with rules:

I know we were just kdding with you, but i do know tha wiffleball leagues are very serious in playing. To be honest, I really thought about converting some of the backyard into a wifflle ball field complete with a "Green Monster"...the key words are "thought about"

    Yep

I actually started this thread as a joke and to make
a point about the "after practice" game last Sunday.
Then after thinking about it, I decided to "google" and
came up with the rules, field dimensions, etc.
Now I am actually thinking about starting a
FUN league in Mount Pleasant. My front yard is at least
four acres, but it's in the country away from everything.
I figure the parks and rec may support it for all ages for
both genders. This would be so fun as long as it's
just for fun! $100.00 would support the whole league!

    Wiffle Ball

My son plays wiffle ball constantly between real baseball games and practices. He is unbeatable...everyone has tried.

Yeah, but we're pro's. An amateur can't beat us...ever! We live by the ol' wiffleball motto, "If you ain't cheatin'.... you ain't trying"
