....true freshman lhp for ECU (from Fuquay Varina) pitch 51/3 scoreless innings in relief today against UCF. I know we had thread on him a couple of weeks ago after his debut in relief against Oklahoma State but this was my first chance to see him pitch and he was definitely most impressive. He sure has a bright future and he is 4-0 for ECU this year. I think he is pitching mainly in relief but if he keeps this up and the way he looked today, he is going to be hard to keep away from starting.

No and yes. I live in Greenville but I am embarassed to say that this was my first ECU baseball game in the new (not so new any more) stadium. I have seen other games there (ie Greenville Rose endowment games) but never ECU. I have been to a ton of football games but never baseball. I must say I had a blast and those guys out in the "jungle" are crazy.

I love it down there. I did the PA for the game today and you're right the guys in the jungle are crazy. I hope you enjoyed the game and will make it back again soon.

You did a great job. I was also glad to hear Les Garner during the 7th inning stretch. My sons went to school with and played baseball with one of his grandsons. Les was a class man and he will be missed.
