believe I am going to post this. But, here we go. Was watch our Panthers against Atlanta. At the start. we ran stole the ball and scored. It was called back. No worries. This is not the point. I was just reading. That once again the focus was on a referee Ed Hochuli was at the center of another questionable call. I saw the play it was close. With baseball looking at instant replay. I pose this question. Does it really matter?

Instant Replay hasn't really given a lot of history of reversing calls unless undisputable. Questionable penalties aren't replayable, as far as I know. But yeah, we got hosed.

Baseball doesn't have the level of judgement that football does. Instant replay as a part of baseball, maybe, I don't see the problem other than the league's concerns of play continuing to drag.

    Need that PD translator.

It will come to baseball but it make take a while. Baseball is slow to change. And in this case it's usually a good thing.

I was just refering to how they have really beat up the Ed for the two bad calls. He is one of the best in the league. To use a reveiw on a play to over turn is one thing but to start to use it to harp on mistakes. As to baseball right slow to change but when they do watch out. Blue will be making more no calls just so they are not put out there. Got you a new translator on the way.

    I gotcha.

I would agree that officials make mistakes. They're human. No need to ride them out of town on a rail over a call. it's part of the game(s). In the case of footbal, you could call something on every play if you look hard enough. So many things are judgement calls. And they are exactly that; judgement. Officials do the best they can. I think if they are consistant that is all we can ask. I don't care what the sport is.
