How long will it take for West Caldwell Coaches realizes this offense does not work??

Ya, it's more than just the coaching at West Caldwell. Some of those kids are down right thugs. I've heard that there are at least 15 kids on that team that are either on probation or in trouble with the law. You can't win with that kind of element in high school.

 

O.K. lets straight to the coaching issue then.... Styron could when a few games like last year against a very weak schedule when he had tremendous talent on the team but what GOOD team did he beat??? I can't think of one!
Just look at this team and you will see terrible coaching... The kids are terribly lazy and unconditioned and by hell its a coaches job to motivate his kids!!!....They are poorly disciplined and fundamentally weak...their blocking and tackling techniques are that of a youth football caliber.... Hell Biggertaffs teams won championships in rebuilding years...Why dont you guys face it...he cant coach and three years ago I said this was coming and now that you Styron supporters are seeing these results it kills you that I told you so....tHE DAWG WAS RIGHT AND THE dAWG IS SMILING CAUSE HE HAD THE LAST LAUGH..... Hey when does basketball season start.....Oh yea we have a coach in basketball!

 

When you get blown off the feild by weakass teams in this weakass conference you should do away with the football program all together! Its time to just get Styron out of here....Hell I can even here the chants of we want Buzz now and thats pretty bad!!!! They'res something serious wrong in that program when you have such undisciplined kids and Very unconditioned kids who does'nt know how to block and tackle because they have NO ONE there to teach them!!!!!

 

Ya man, the warriors suck pretty bad. I thought the defense played pretty good, but it was the offense and special teams that created all of wilkes centrals points.

The offensive line sucks. The QB #1 sucks too. I saw him pitch to nobody on an option last night. He even rolls out the wrong way on pass plays. I thought this head coach was supposed to be an offensive genius?

Special teams suck real bad. Those guys are either afraid or resting on ST. How come 56, 57, 70 can't block. Those guys are like almost 300 pounds each. Do they not lift weights at that school?

What a pitiful program. I'm with you, DAWG, the coaching sucks as do the players, parents, and the community. Someone should either nuke gamewell or partition it off from the rest of the United States so it doesn't rub off on the rest of civilized society. The fans and parents at west are awful too. I was there with my niece and nephew last night and could not believe how foul mouthed, racist, and classless the fans and parents are.

Styron may be a good guy but his coaching is terrible. So please coach Styron step down.

 

Dude, you've gotta come up with more than "he's gotta go." Styron is only part of the problem at WC. That community is full of undesireable people who only serve to contaminate society. The parents of the kids on that team range from criminals, racists, druggies, alcoholics, and much more. I know this because I walk through the parking lot before and after games. Also, I listen to the foul mouthed racist comments that come from these people during the game from the stands. Also, I've seen one parent drunk, belligerent, and stumbling after a game. Dude, the best thing for the WC community is to take out the good citizens that do reside there and drop a nuke on the rest.

I will say this about the coach:

1. He is a good man that is a good influence on the kids. That's important considering the loser parents most of them have.
2. He has not been doing a very good job this year. I don't know why, but he deserves a chance to turn it around.
3. I don't know why he'd want to coach their anyway.

WELL ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GO WATCH THEM PLAY, AND YOU CAN SEE HOW POORLY THEY ARE COACHED. THEY HAVE KNOW DISCIPLINE, THEY ARE POORLY CONDITIONED. THERE FUNDAMENTALS ARE TERRIBLE, AND THAT ALL COME'S BACK TO THE COACH. THEY ARE PLAYING IN THE WEASKEST 2A CONFERENCE IN THE STATE IN FOOTBALL. I STONGLY FILL IT IS TIME FOR MR. STYRON TO STEP DOWN.

 

The problem at WC is more than just tackling, blocking, ect... There is a moral crisis going on in that community that stems from its lack of leadership (parents, school officials, ect...) that is filtering down to those kids that attend the school and play football. These kids are truly bad citizens. Half of the team is in trouble with the law, on probation, or come from single parent families. The problem originates in the home and cannot be rectified on the football practice field 4 months out of the year for two hours per day. For Christ sake, how can a football coach instill discipline in a team that gets none in the home. I'm telling you guys right now, I agree that he could be doing a better job coaching. But that school needs a warden, not a better head football coach. This problem at WC encapsulates so much more than just winning football games, tackling, or blocking. The kids that play on this team will soon enter the real world. Their juvenile shenanigans and inability to conform to societal norms will not be tolerated in the real world. It sucks that nobody else is seeing the real problem for what it really is over there.

 

wellwe can talk about the community all we like but the bottom line to fixing the problem is replacing styron with a coach that will install a quality disciplined program.... A coach that will have his team disciplined, conditioned and fundamentally sound!... This alone will bring back excitement to the community and build a foundation.... We had that in the eighty's and it all started with the coach
