    Batter hits a high bouncer to third
    Ball hits top of third's glove and bounces to short
    Short gets the ball and throws the girl out at first

    Two innings later...
    Batter hits line shot up the middle
    Ball deflects off pitchers glove and bounces to short
    Short gets the ball and throws the girl out at first

    Are both of these straight 6 -> 3 put outs? Is there no such thing as an assist in softball?

    Both of these plays were awesome and it just happened to be Landon who was at short and made both plays. Great job Landon!
