Hopewell High School #5 and rising

Has anybody else noticed what Coach David Brown is accomplishing up at Hopewell? 11-1 record and currently ranked 4A #5 in the State. Led by Jack Lane, Adam Waters, Rusty White and Co., this team can bring the bats and the arms.

I know Coach Brown is hoping I would be quiet and allow him to sneak up on everyone.....but no way! They are legit and have a HUGE rival game Tuesday against North Meck.

Not to take a shot against Randleman, but their loss is certainly Charlotte's gain.....thank you Randleman. My guess is the people up on the lake better buy David a home; Hopewell doesn't want to let Coach Brown get away.

Oh...and make sure it has a dock so I have a place to park my boat.

 

Ragsdale played Hopewell and saw first hand how talented they were. Excellent hitting team, strong and deep pitching staff, and lots of seniors. It was a sloppy game by both teams but it was easy to see how talented they are. They had knowledegable and friendly fans as were their players. We fed them after the game and every player said thank you and looked you in the eye and shook your hand. That told me more about them than their baseball.
