    I heard some talk at the Easter Tournament that Hickory Post 48 is going to have a junior legion team this year. Does anyone know if that is official yet?

    Some of the details I heard made it sound like a local high school was going to field a team and call themselves a junior legion team. Not sure how that would work.

    Are junior legion players bound by the same eligiblilty rules? Would they have to get a release to play for another team - assuming that Post 48 has a legit junior legion team?

    in jr legion a player is suggested to play to closest to the base school but they are not required to get release. So anyone can play anywhere in junior legion.
