    Congratulations to Ryan Gupton - DH Conley 2011 - on verbally committing to ECU. Ryan and my son have been battery mates for literally hundreds of games over the last 6 or 7 years. From little league to AAU to middle school to Jr. Legion to most recently showcase baseball with the Carolina Thunder in 07 and 08. Unfortunately, when they left middle school, Ryan was in the Conley district and my son was in South Central so they have to play against each other now. They also faced each other a couple of weeks ago at an Impact event.

    ECU is getting a quality young man with a wonderful family. I can't wait to hear Eddie shout "hub - bub" over at ECU with "Gup" on the mound. Ryan is also a pretty good hitter and 3rd / 1st baseman. Of course 1st will already be taken by Diesel Jr.
