Just curious ..i went there for about 3 years.... 1 year at Lower Richland High School.... before moving up here..... just sayin

 

Yea, it really brought a rise out of the opposing teams when their mascot arrived at the games, a big pile of bull crap.

 

Sorry IC...I forgot to post it...AC Flora. One of my best friends growing uo was the football coach at LR...Billy Kimrey. He's now the HC at Dutch Fork. His built himself a nice reputation in the HS ranks.

Oh..this may be before your time, but LR had the best HS coach of all time...would beat the socks off of Tommy Knotts. His name is Mooney Player...man, that guy could coach.

 

i twisted up my wrist at a football practice one day... Mooney Player spit on my wrist and said does it hurt now.... i said and went back to practice...

But he had a record at one time something like 95 wins and maybe 6 losses....

LR run the most trick plays of any team ive ever seen....

 

Yeah, but they had to. They usually were one of the smallest teams, but always the smartest. His trick plays were never seen before and haven't been seen since....Mooney Player...one of a kind!!!!
