    As part of the buildup to the American Legion World Series next year in Shelby, Post 82 will have a free night of baseball this Friday at home.

    Post 82 will take on Dothan, Ala., at 7 p.m. All fans will be admitted free but youth league teams, area veterans and law enforcement personnel are welcome as special guests.
    Before the game, a special ceremony will be held to officially launch the 2008 regional and World Series effort.
