FALCONS vs WONDERS

OK, it's the second week of conference play for some teams. Based on what you've seen so far can the Falcons stay with the Wonders? The game is at K-Town and it is a tough place to play. Any thoughts or predictions?

 

If you look at wins and losses and all the other stats, these two teams match up very well. I would give K-town a slight edge, just for home field advantage. It will come down to who wants it the most. Very important game in the NPC.

I'm hearing that West has injury problems. Joe Jackson will not be at full strength and the QB is banged up too!
West has only beat the Wonders once since the 2 have played.
Don't get me wrong because a wounded dog fights harder.
Should be a great game and could possibly come down to penalties and turnovers. Good Luck to the Falcons!

Falcon1.........how is Charlie Aldridge doing. I know he sat out the South game with an injury? Did he play against North Iredell?
Kent Harrington is a transfer from Indiana. Does he get much playing time? I know he was all county and all conference in Indiana.

 

Aldridge played and looked good against North Iredell. If I'm not mistaken, I believe Harrington scored a touchdown against North. I'm not sure about Jackson's situation, and I don't think anybody knows what really is his problem except mabey the coach. Quarterback was banged up last week but I was told he should be able to play Friday. Hope it's a good game. GO FALCONS!!!!!!!

I talked to Coach Young at Lowe's Tuesday for a minute. He was telling me to stretch the chains for him. We talked about his injuried players. I told him Joe ALWAYS runs wild on us. He's a great person and coach. His last words to me were. WE HAVE A CHANCE!
If you get a chance come down to the sidelines on the visitors side and say hello. I'll be there about 7 or come down at halftime.

If Coach Young asked you to stretch the chains...stretch them just enough to keep the Falcons from getting first downs! Just kidding!!!! I know you would never do anything like that...or would you? Tell the rest of the chain crew...Ole K63 said Hi.

K63...Yes I did get your email. Been very busy this week doing my excercises. If the game is a high scoring affair. I want to be in tip top shape running up and down the sidelines!

Boxman, All I can say is WHAT A GAME! If you left early, as I know some did, then you missed an incredible come from behind game that not only went down to the wire but went into two overtimes. It's allways tough to play in k-town and come away with a win. I know a lot of West fans are wondering if our quarterback was at full strength what kind of a difference it would have made since our passing game was obviously lacking, but bottom line is we came up short and the Wonders were the better team tonight. I thought the officiating was good overall and our defense played their hearts out considering what kind of talent they were up against. By the way if someone on the K-town side of the field could enlighten me as to what resulted in a thirty yard penalty againt us at the start of the second half I would appreciate it as we could not see it or hear the announcement over the adress system. I tried to come down at halftime and find you and introduce myself to you and your fellow posters Boxman, but I was cornered by relatives and some old friends from high school, as I am a Kannapolis native and graduate of AL Brown and just didn't make it down to the sidelines. Falcon1.........Yes it was a super game and West should be commended for not folding at halftime. Coach Young is a super coach. I NEVER hear him bad mouth any of his player but only correct their mistake they made....classy coach...........West will definitely be heard from in the playoffs.

I was beside Coach Young when the referee came over to explain the 30 yd penalty. The ref said that #42 tackled the runner out of bounds......15 yd penalty..........after the play the same player was call for antoher personal foul for mouthing at the officals....since it was a dead ball penalty 15yds more was tacked on..........
