ESPN Womens CWS Question

    ESPN Womens CWS Question
    Other than ESPN leaving the LSU vs CAL Bears game early, LSU 4 CAL 1 and not showing the second game which CAL. won 4 to 1 to show an insignificant MLB game whats with the out field fences ? Maximum NCAA distance is 135’, minimum is 185’, these fences are 190’ down the lines and 210 straight away center. Why so short ? Most of the HR’s would be nothing but long outs during the season. Maybe the large D1 schools keep there fields short to pad the stats. Anybody got a theory ??

    adds to the ratings and perhaps more entertaining in their minds for the viewers.

    two fences are in place.....did you see the second one which appears 5 -10 feet farther back!

    great games though and ready to see the championship game NOW

    I hope we get to see the whole game and they don't cut away to something else. :laugh1:

    California vs UCLA..........the Bears are the team my wife picked earlier in the WS, she likes the scrappy play of the team and the gotlic look of their pitcher :scared2:

    i see UCLA repeating but hope its another great game and no interupptions either! :D
