Can anyone post that went to this camp Nov 29/30?
What college coaches or scouts were in attendance?
    How was player turnout?

too cold, too much downtime, too many kids

    schools/scouts: phillies/A's/O's Impact/Belmont Abbey/UNC-G/UNC-A/FMU/USC-Spartanburg is what I recall though there were more

day one morning guys were split into groups by general position after stretching and 60's. they had some lecture and then went to field for workout by position. Pitchers/catchers had bullpen, infield took work at short (not so good for guys on the corners), i'm not sure what OF did

day one late morning/afternoon was continuation of skills by position and lectures as the groups were split into two groups of 4 teams of 15-20 players each. one group was basically engaged in hitting while one was getting instruction/lecture standing around. might have been better to have that part in the gym just due to weather

day 2 warmed up by 11 or so and playing conditions were much better. but with 170 or so kids it seemed hard for the coaches/scouts to stay focused on game day. Mostly jr's/sr's some soph/frosh.

they had games going at 2 locations: Elon and Williams HS. It seems most action was at Elon. If you had a pitcher who was in the rotation you might feel like it was ok but I heard 2nd hand a story of a guy and son who drove down from NY to be seen by 2 schools other than Elon. Unfortunately his rotation was at Williams but the coaches were at Elon. It was probably a long sad 12 hour drive back to NY.

The thing was pretty well scripted but just too many kids I think. Coaches were approachable and facilities were good.

I think Army, Gardner Webb, Spartanburg Methodist, and Louisburg were also there - I may be leaving some out though.
