The board is often Charlotte driven, so to speak, so it's no surprise these two and this matchup have not been much for discussion.
However, here we are, and one of the two will play in a regional final.
    So...

My money is on the Eagles.
The fact that they whooped me 3 times with a combined total of 25 runs to 2, well, it could sway my opinion.
Simply, the Eagles are playing great team baseball.
Different guys contribute at the plate, with one or two always seeming to swing well.
Someone always gets a two out hit for them - always.
    They catch the ball.
They pull for each other, and believe they will win.
The biggest aspect though is the two senior pitchers: RH Dylan Ward and LH Caleb (Bird) Edwards.
I know, you never heard of them.
These two just run out there game after game (especially over the last 4 weeks) and win... and win... and win.
Coach Plaster has done a phenominal job with this team - one most thought would finish 3rd or 4th in our conference.

Now, I will also tip my hat to Lovelace at Tabor.
A fourth place, 4 seed team that has knocked off Providence and Davie in a week.
He has his Spartans believing they will beat anybody, any night.

We'll see in Kvegas on Tuesday.

By the way, Plaster and Lovelace BOTH UNC-Charlotte pitchers - a while back...

Watched East beat up on West Forsyth this past Friday night and they are a solid team. They are swinging hot bats up and down the lineup, the pitchers are getting outs and defensively they do not give you extra outs in an inning. Having said that I think St. Clair is back on the mound for Mt. Tabor and he has won a lot of big games for the Spartans, including the game against Providence. Should be a good one.

    MAXPREPS is a joke.
    You can quote me...

I do not mean that as a slight to either team. That site and the stats and the culminating determinations are a joke.

East Forsyth can be a dominating team, but....dadgum, Mt Tabor, has been beating everyone when no one gave them much chance.

    My pick: East Forsyth

    Mt Tabor

St Clair can shut down anybody. If both teams score some runs Tabor has a much deeper bull pen.I am pulling for East but I think Mt Tabor wins this game! I like Plaster amd Lovelace both and both are good freinds just have lots of ties with the East players!

You were aware of a particular SW4A coach that forbid the families of his players from posting on TBR, so the logical conclusion is he decided to forbid EVERYONE from posting! Another solution could be his CIA connections have tapped into TBR and intercept any posts referencing his school.
