With all the widespread (every game) national TV coverage that the Div 1 College World Series receives now, is this a real factor in "stud" HS baseball players' decision in selecting a school?

Sure...who doesn't want to play on TV; to be watched by relatives all across the country. But is it one of the top factors in the decision?...I doubt it.

    Why be a sub?

I have seen some really good ballplayers go to BIG schools only to sit the bench all year instead of going to a school where they would be starters. Why would anyone do that UNLESS they really didn't want a baseball "playing" career or did not have the confidence? Any thoughts?

Steven Spielberg's film is based on the true story of Tom Worrell, a notorious baseball stud who got paid only in cash and who threw nothing but spitballs at hitters..............

I like the sequel better, "Bravesheart".

It's a story of Braves losing his true love to MLB's 1st human mascot, Max Patkin. His love of his life was swept away by Max's antics on the field and his ability to throw, catch and hit a ball at the same time using his 3 limbs.

Warning It's a tear jerker, but has a great ending!

    It sure doesnt hurt.

I dont think there is any doubt that a program that shows it can make it to Omaha gains an advantage in recruiting over programs that have not proven they can.
