Crest will lose at least one game - the one Patrick Adams pitches.

    Crest Hitters vrs Patrick Adams

Having seen Patrick Adams pitch, (he is certainly one of the best in the state), you are probably right. However, Crest has some very good hitters and they will attack, and their park is a hitter's park. Crest hitters against Patrick at Crest, advantage Crest. Crest hitters against Patrick at any other park, advantage Patrick.

East Rutherford played Crest 3 times during the season. At Crest field, the first game of the season, I think each team hit 4 homeruns, (total 8), the last was a walkoff by Crest catcher, Matt Haynes giving Crest the win. At E/R's home field and at Shelby's big field, during the Easter Tourn., East won and the long ball was not as big a factor.

This will be a great series! Crest is well coached and Patrick is as fine of pitcher you will see, should be one great matchup!

West Rowan isn't a one-player team. Their bats can really heat up and they are sound defensively.

I believe that WR has the advantage in the series.

Sorry if my message was misinterpreted. I am very confident that West Rowan is a great team or they would not be in this position. I just have not had the pleasure of seeing West Rowan play but I have had the pleasure of seeing Patrick pitch and have been blown away with his ability. He is probably the best high school pitcher I have seen pitch and he is a rock on the mound! Very polished! Nothing seems to phase him. This will be a great matchup!

Now that I totally agree with .... this should be a great series.

Both of these teams can really hit. Don't be surprised by a 10-8 game in game #1.

Geez ... I didn't know I was so Prophetic. 18 runs, 22 hits, 4 HR's .... I guess that qualifies as having some HOT bats.

    West Rowan....

I hate to tell the Crest faithful this,,,,, but right now Patrick Adams may not even be the hottest pitcher on his team. Patrick is still very dominant, but sophomore Wade Moore has stepped up and shut down some very good teams the past several weeks for WR.

Of course when West Rowan is hitting the ball, they are awful tough to beat,,,, period.

I don't want to boast now,,,, but you guys remember I was picking West Rowan to win the State Championship even when TC Roberson was still alive. I'll stick with my prediction....
