If its a win, I usually cool down after a game by just sitting down, relaxing and enjoying a fresh chew...

After a loss, just go home. :piss:

    I believe in stretching.

Stretch before and after a game. You have to teach proper stretching and have a specific program. It has to be precise and the exercises have to be done properly with individual concentration.

There is a lot of standing around during a game. Pitchers especially need to go through a good stretching routine after they pitch. Not just their arm but their core body muscles; abs, lower/upper back, hips flexors, thighs, and hams. Once adequately stretched then a poll or 2. Im not going to offer any ideas on post pitching arms. Ice has something to do with it though. Your call.

However, for the pure psychological relief, running a few sprints, after a win or a loss, I would recommend that. Get the game out of the mind and leave it on the field.
