Composite bats in batting cages

Appreciate your stand on this.....for composite bats to survive, we must eliminate the creating....

Good question on the difference between a "well broken" and a doctored bats......

could be a tough call...

I don't have a bat this old but lets say player had one of the old Miken Impulse or Intensite bats. That kid takes BP like crazy. That bat being four to five years old it probably would flunk such a test. Not picking on Miken either just using them for an example because they have had composites out for a long time.
Now I will use a Combat example. I talked to a guy there about the choices in baseball bats. He informed me if my kid wasn't very strong the bat we were looking at would never perform to it's highest potential. The reason he said for this is the inner wall would never break apart. It is crucial for that to happen with composites. That is why I asked the question I did about Eastons new idea. I could see some of the umpires I have come across eject a kid for something that wasn't even tampering.

 

Does anyone know anything about the new Demarini Pitch Black?Saw these being used in the college world series and on the Demarini website but have'nt been released yet.I like the TZ but would like to see the Pitch Black before purchasing.
