    Pfeiffer College plays a double header on Sarurday vs Brevard beginning at 1:30pm at Pfeiffer.

    Former Mt. Pleasant HS standout catcher Hannah Clark is a freshman on the Falcons. I look for the Falcons to be near the top in the CC this year.

    Catawba at Belmont Abbey

    Catawba College and Belmont Abbey will kick off their softball season on Thursday Feb 7th at Belmont NC. 1st game of a double header gets under way at 1:30pm.

    Gardner Webb host Spartanburg Methodist on 2/8 at 2:30 for a double.
    Then on 2/14 off to Auburn Univ. for a weekend tourney

    News

    The Abbey lost all-conference centerfielder Katie Hobbs. Katie broke her ankle during practice earlier this week! Big blow as Katie is a captain, a great outfielder and the #3 hitter. Hopefully some of the new talent will step it up and help fill her shoes.
    It is my daughter's last season at Belmont Abbey and I will miss watching her and Jess Inman! Those two have become great friends and have enjoyed nice careers. Jess is the top catcher in the conference as a three time all-conference, two time all-region, and has had a great OBP.
    I will not talk about my own kid on TBR.
    Todd has a good team at Pfieffer, they will be a force. I also look at Coker and maybe Mt. Olive to fight it out with Pfieffer for the elite three. Pitching will be key.:gossip:

    Abby Threatt (Sr.) (BAC) hit a monster blast over the centerfield fence with 1 on it the third inning of game 2.

    Allie Marshall (So.) (Catawba) hit a HR in the sixth inning of game 2.
