Can someone give me the rule on whether a college softball player can help with a high school or middle school softball team. I was under the impression that was considered an ncaa recruiting violation. I don't know if the same rule applies to all divisions.

They are not NCAA coaches so it would seem as long as they are not paid to help they should be ok.

    compliance officer

I would have her compliance officer give a blessing on it....

Section 12.1.5.2 Non-permissible activities - after initial full time collegiate enrollment.
section a. Use of athletics skill for pay. uses his or her athletic skill (directly or indirectly) for pay in any form in that sport including actual and necessary expenses...

Is she getting paid.... then probably no...

    Ask her compliance officer
