College games this weekend.

    The Charlotte 49'ers will host a series against LeMoyne. The friday game starts at 4:00 while the weekend games start at 12:00

    Campbell will play Charleston Southern a two game set Friday and Saturday. Starting times are 4:00 and 12:00 respectively.

    Elon is down at Miami for a very tough series.

    App State is at Georgia Southern this weekend.

    Barton will be hosting a double header against Belmont Abbey on Saturday at noon and a 1:00 game on sunday against Belmont Abbey.

    Mars Hill will host Catawba this weekend on Sat/Sun with a double header on Sat.

    Davidson is starting a tough, 3-game weekend series against East Tennessee State University today. They will be playing in Davidson.

    Duke has a tough Big-10 matchup for 3 games against Michigan at home.

    Montreat will play a double header on saturday and a solo contest on sunday against Alice Lloyd college. All games at Montreat.

    NC State is traveling to the "left coast" for a 3 game set with San Deigo State and Tony Gwynn.

    Pfeiffer will play two against Limestone at home on saturday and a single game on sunday.

    UNC-Asheville has a 3 game set at home this weekend with the University of Albany.

    UNC-Chapel Hill will host a 3 game series at home this weekend against St. Francis College.

    The Spartans of UNC-Greensboro will host Ohio University this weekend for a 3 game set.

    Wake Forest will trade Home/Away games this weekend with Winthrop. The saturday game is at Wake and the sunday game is at Winthrop.

    Western Carolina will host a double header on saturday with a sunday contest to follow against Miami of Ohio.

    Lots of great action locally this weekend...... catch a game !!!!!

    Davidson won the series with ETSU 2 games to 1.

    Rob Wilson (Myers Park) won his second game by pitching 4 1/3 relief innings and only allowing one hit.

    Jay Heafner (West Lincoln) was 6/10 at the plate with 2 HRs. He also earned his second save.

    NCSU dropped 2 of 3 at SDSU. NCSU fell to 10-2 on the season.
    Lenoir CC swept Blue Ridge CC out in Flat Rock, NC this weekend.
    App.State picked up their first win of the season (1-12) yesterday over Georgia Southern. They travel to ECU on Wednesday.
