CBC’s College and High School Baseball Prep Course is designed to prepare incoming players for the expectations of a collegiate/high school baseball player both on and off the field. Our prep course assists players with the workout program they have received from their school. If you did not get a specific program you will receive one from CBC designed for you and your needs.

CBC’s College and High School Prep Course allows you to get supervised, concentrated, focused repetitions. This program will concentrate on Offensive and Defensive Reps, as well as your summer strength and agility program. The weight room will become a major focus for college athletes and you will be evaluated on your performance in the weight room, just like you are on the field. The program teaches players how to work safely, efficiently and effectively in the weight room.

    The mental adjustments

The biggest adjustment a new player has is the mental adjustments. Dealing with situations that you did not expect, or have not been part of before can be challenging. CBC focuses on preparing you for life on and off the field, and gives you the tools to set goals for yourself, and how to obtain them.

Mental Side: 3 sessions (and more if needed)

    On the field

    *Approach and adjustment
    *Dealing with different terminology
    *Dealing with failure *Not playing

    Off the field

*Academic Resources (tutoring, writing labs, etc.)
    *Academic Structure

Jason Hill & Paul Lover - Mental Sessions
