    The following is an e mail from the sports editor at our local newspaper. I only post this as a learning tool for ANYBODY posting results to their own paper for the player's recognition. It seems whomever posted our game results didn't put the key hit in bold print. I truly hope this helps.:Reagan-hittin-head-

    Although I wish that we had in fact mentioned the HR, keep in mind that not every parcel of information provided on a game will always make the paper.
    I will review the information sent on the game and discuss the importance of noting items such as this... but wanted to be sure we were clear that, for instance, everyone's name who scores a goal in an 11-0 soccer victory might not get mentioned because of space considerations, etc.
    A possible help would be if there is something of great importance -- i.e., a player's first career high school home run -- you note that and bold it. No way we're going to know that type of detail unless it's reported to us.
    Appreciate your help with NCHS softball... and thanks for bringing this to my attention.
