Chipola College Softball All-Conference Honors

    Lady Indians Earn All-Conference Honors [​IMG] News - Latest Articles The honors for the reigning Panhandle Conference Champions continued to roll in Wednesday as the Lady Indians of Chipola earned 11 All-Conference selections.

    On a squad in which thoughts of individual honors have been set aside for the betterment of the team, the Chipola Softball Team received recognition for their stellar 14-2 mark in conference play, winning the league title by 5 games.

    Teammates Emma Stevenson, Brittany Black, Trish Bliss, Michelle Hewett, Nikki Roddy, and Kellie Todd were named to the First Team All Conference. Second team honors featured Lady Indians Hannah Lovestrand, Andrea Sullivan, and Ariell van Hook; while Dana Cauthen received honorable mention.

    Catcher Kellie Todd, a staple behind the plate for the Lady Indians, was named Conference Player of the Year. Emma Stevenson was selected as the Conference Pitcher of the Year, with a record of 20-3 overall and 7-0 in conference play with two saves and an ERA of 0.96.

    To top off this year’s conference honors was Chipola Coach Belinda Hendrix being selected as the Panhandle Conference Coach of the Year.
