West Montgomery 5 Chatham Central 0
    W:Holt
    L:Dean

Holt had 15K and Dean/White had 13K. West did more with the hits and runners on then CC. Holt was just on, had runners on 2-3rd and K'd his way out of it. Good game none the less, hats off. Good pitching by both, 28 outs out of 42 is a pretty good ratio.

    At this moment

    West Montgomery 4-1

    Chatham Central 4-1

The rest of the conference is either tied up or just behind then the last two teams are winless.........these conference stats will change by the end of the week probably.
East Montgomery will come to West on Friday, not to mention Chatham Central will play Jordan Matthews as well this week, two huge rivalries.

Congrats to the warriors on the big W!!!

I coached against those kids last year and never understood why they couldn't get it together. Probably had to do with the ridiculous friction b/w the parents and the former head coach (who is a great guy, by the way).

With Holt, Furr, Hurley, etc., they have plenty of talent. Glad to see they are getting the most out of it this year.

Does anyone know if the two West players lost to injuries be back for the Friday matchup with East Montgomery? What were the nature of their injuries?
