Charlotte Cobras 18U - Alyssa Hartley

    Alyssa Hartley (LF for The Charlotte Cobras & 2B/OF for Indian Land HS) has verbally committed to Head Coach Brandon Duncan of Lander University (Peach Belt) this evening. Alyssa is a special player for us as she is the heart and soul of our program. Alyssa is in the top 1% of respect level, character, positive attitude and hustle of any player I have ever coached in college, HS or travel ball. There are not enough words in the English language to describe how Chuck and I feel about this kid as a player!

    For those of you who do not know our SC players very well, I can tell you they are as hard working as they come. Alyssa Hartley has earned this opportunity and will go to Lander and make an honest difference for them in leadership and work ethic. She will set a standard there, I am sure of it. She has been a spark plug for us time and time again, making the pressure plays when we need them along with hitting in that crucial RBI when it was her turn to step up. Alyssa has a strong sense of self and self purpose always looking to better someone’s day and being the catalyst for goodwill. Alyssa is active in her church and school as I am sure she will continue to be an active force at Lander.

    The Charlotte Cobras 18U ASA-A Softball Program is very proud of Alyssa and her accomplishments. We wish her continued success in her senior year! Congratulations JR & Karen Hartley and the entire Hartley Family!
