99.9% of the time good pitching beats good hitting. Tonight MP got to see the real deal.

 

Well, there you go. 17 strikeouts. hmmmm.

 

dead dog lie

Went to see this game, no dog in this fight. Had to see myself. MP has a excellent ball team and they can hit it with the best but not tonight. I have seen a lot of ball this season, TB and HS. But this was my 1st time seeing Miss Leonard pitch. 4 yr starter, experience really came out tonight. In the groove you could say. I don't know how any one has beaten her this year the way she pitched tonight. I think SWR beat CD, but don't know if Leonard pitched. Also the freshman Taylor for MP is a up and coming real deal. Watch out in 3yrs. She handled the pressure very well to be in such a high profile game. So, NB if you were not there, let the dead dog lie. Catch my drift.

 

Chelsea had not pitched this year until the playoffs. I doubt she is even to 100%. She is an unbelievable pitcher and person.

 

Yea and she plays at a 2A school imagine that !!!!!

 

She beat North Davidson 4A twice, She beat SWR and they are 3A State Champs. She beat West Forsyth 4A. She beat Alexander Central 4A. I could go on but I believe you get the point. Imagine that!!!!

 

I could be wrong, but I don't believe Dobber was knocking Chelsea. I think it is amazing she is pitching as strong this quickly.

CD is the favorite now because of her. It makes it a lot easier on the D when you only have to make 3 or 4 plays a game. The CD hitters will now be more relaxed because they won't feel the pressure to have score several runs.

Good pitching shut down a good hitting MP team. Last night there was pressure to hit a good pitcher. How bout Ledford pitching or someone down east with a real good pitcher. Could be like Pisgah and Owen.... 16 innings. Pisgah pitcher went 16 innings and lost. CD better be ready every game.

Daddydobber was knocking her at all. I believe he was knocking the notion that 2A couldn't compete with 3A/4A.
