Carolina Cardinals Chandler ASA 18U A Champs!

    I gotta brag a bit about my girls.
    My kids competed in Salem, VA this past week in the 2013 USA/ASA 18U A National Championship finals and came home National Champions!!!
    A feat only attained in NC by Ray Chandler's Cardinals in 2006 at Owensboro, KY.
    This group of talented young ladies went 9-0 on the week!
    The "beastie birds" are Lexi Shubert, Taylor Wike, Haley Pace, Haley Stewart, Lacey Fox, Katie Williford, Brea Lawson, Aquilla Mateen, Destiny DeBerry, Ashley Best, Ashlea Hunter, Meredith Harris, Logan Wood, Tara Loken, Madison Carter, Kiersten Berrier, Mellena Helms, Christiana Gable, along with some mighty talented pick players; Bailey Bjorson (Carolina Wildcats) and Sarah Davis (Lady Blues Oldham).
    So proud of these girls and their accomplishment this week.
    Memories were made that will last a lifetime!
    What a fantastic way to end finish out a summer season!!!
    I am so proud!

    Great Job Cardinals! Couldn't happen to a nicer group.

    The Curve -Fain 14U came up a bit short (33rd out of 124) at the 14U "A" Nationals but a great experience for our young ladies. Lady Blues faired better. Great showing all around though from the NC teams.
