    Playing high school football on carpet. May as well move it into the gym.

    I understand your point and if it were just HS football I would agree, but with all the soccer, middle school games, and youth league games being played on the fields (not to mention the HS teams practicing on it as well), it will save on a lot of wear and tear, and a lot of up keep.
