    Ben Buchanan, East Meck hurler, has accomplished many things on the baseball diamond.....but yesterday he accomplished a first.

    Ben hit a Homerun!!!!! His first ever in any kind of game. Coach Greeson was so shocked at 3rd base, he nearly fell down. Coach had to keep Ben from sliding into third and reminded him he could trot home versus his all-out sprint.

    Congratulations to Ben and for hitting one for the "pitchers" :applause:

    What a great kid ..... and every pitcher's dream. Remember Ben, regardless of how well you pitch, "Chick's dig the long ball". :rofl: :rofl:

    Ben has pitched great every time I've seen him. UNC-A is getting a gem.
