I hate you didn't see him play this fall....Otherwise you would agree with Kevin11 just as I do.. Very smooth infielder and good power with the bat!

Dykota Spiess hits for power as well as average, one of the most disciplined hitters at the plate. Played varsity as a freshman and and batted over .450 in the top conference in the state. He has the grades to go with it,talked to his dad and he said makes all A's. This kid will only get better with age.

Chris Fine another kid with grades and power. Will be one of the best catchers in the state by the time he he reaches his senior year. He also played varsity as a freshman and held his own.

DB14, gotta agree with you. Some nice talent going from Freedom to the new school Patton this year. Is Patton in the Freedom Invitational during spring break? If they are, see ya there. For those in other parts of the state that don't know, this is the Morganton Little League team that went to Williamsport. Some good players on that squad.

I saw this kid several times this summer. I coached him one weekend at Louisburg College in a tourney. If he is not of the best HS players in the state period this coming season I want to see the others that are better. Outstanding size. Great infield actions and hands. Very good arm. But what really stands out for me is his bat and his approach at the plate. The kid can flat out hit the baseball. He is a bigtime talent. He played the last part of the summer and fall with Midland. He is a great kid as well very coachable.

    Note to Mudcat:
    Trust Kevin11's scouting reports.
