Benefit Camp

    On January 18th, local coaches and players will be running a free camp (taking donations) to support the Vickie Honeycutt Foundation (Vickie S. Honeycutt Foundation | Dedicated to the memory of Vickie S. Honeycutt). This foundation offers financial support to teachers who are battling cancer. To date, the organization has made over $75,000 in donations. We had a slight hiccup and were forced to move locations. We hope to be able to announce that by Monday, but it will be in the Greater Charlotte Area. The camp will run from 10:00 to 2:00. Staff committed at this time includes:

    Tyler Tewell (Atlanta Braves)
    Jon Tuscan (South Meck)
    Mark Mennitt (Marvin Ridge)
    John Spencer (Former Myers Park Head Coach/Ballantyne Smokies)
    J.D. Vidal (Former Cox Mill Head Coach/Ballantyne Smokies)

    More to be added in the coming days.

    We will also have a silent auction for a Robinson Cano signed baseball, a Josh Hamilton signed baseball and a replica ticket from Super Bowl 1 signed by Len Dawson and Bart Starr.

    100% of the proceeds will go towards the Vickie Honeycutt Foundation as all of these guys have volunteered their time, so we hope to see you all on the 18th.
