    They are starting the interview process this week. Apparently, they have a lot of candidates

    I understand, but I strongly suggest you wait and see who they announce before making any decisions.

    new coach at abbey

    scott brickman was pitching/assistant coach at uni.NorThern Iowa ...sounds good !!!:cheers2:

    Coach Brickman appears to be a perfect hire. He's familiar with the Carolinas (as far as recruiting). And he addresses the huge gap left by Coach Anderson's departure...with pitching expertise. At every level, it's always all about pitching, isn't it?

    I hope everyone is patient with Coach Brickman. He has alot of holes to fill. Next season is a challenge...but if key players return, it will still be fun to follow!

    Sidenote: I predict that Lander U has a HUGE season next year. Kermit and Chris will work magic with that program. They are 2 of the best at the D2 level, no doubt.
