I have been reading over the past couple of weeks how are teams are going down to tournaments and showing other teams what NC/SC baseball is all about. I like to give a big thank you for the people taking time to post scores and updates on here of how teams did that day of competition. It is great to see so many teams from the Carolina's loaded with amazing talent and going to these tournaments and coming closer and closer to winning a big tournament.

This is also a big thank you to the players and parents that take time out of your schedule to go and support your son. I know it has to be tough finacially with gas prices and all but we all know you wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

I just anxious for the day that we can brag about a team from the Carolina's going down and winning the tournaments at East Cobb or Jupiter.

instead of 5 or 6 teams, pick 18 and make 1 team.

Yea you could but it would take an opportunity away from the other 60 kids. If they did just make one team they would have a great shot at winning it but having a lot of competitive teams gives me more to read about and seeing all of them succeed is something for all of us to be happy about.

With some of these kids and the high school they play at this maybe the only opportunity they will have to play in front of scouts or get noticed at all. These teams are all good enough to win it without having to form one team.

Classy thread Lefty! It's not often you get a player to recognize parents for their commitment to their children.
