This Battle of the States III is being held October 28-30.....Would this be a top showcase to attend if invited? Please let me know on your thoughts...some kids had some questions about it.

    Pitchers

If I am not mistaken, this is a wood bats event. Colleges are looking for hitters. If you have been showcasing at other events (metal bats), and not received desired attention, why would you go to this one unless you are a pitcher? JMO

There will be 150+ colleges...and all ML team scouts (Dodgers send all 30 of theirs) at the Perfect Game World Wood Bat World Series. There will be around 80 teams with at least 15 per team. That's a lot of players to showcase their hitting with a wooden bat. I think the scouts at all levels like to see the players swing the wood bat. It gives a better perspective of the one's that can hit at the next level and the one's that can't
