Battle for the PINK Ribbon

    Peace and Meredith softball teams square off today in their annual
    "Inside the Beltline" war for softball bragging rights in Raleigh.

    The teams will honor the " NFCA Strike Out Cancer " initiative, as they hit the fields to raise needed money for the American Cancer society.

    Both teams are very evenly matched this year,
    with Peace at a 15-15 overall ( 8-6 in the USA South - 4th place )
    and Meredith at 11-15 overall ( 6-8 in the USA South - 7th place )

    First pitch at 300 pm today at the Meredith Softball field.
    See you on the sidelines....

    Great cause

    Should be good games today for a great cause. Come on out and see these teams slug it out on the field.
