    Nuther true story about Dbacks...

...after getting his runner thrown out trying to steal,,,, someone yelled "hey Dbacks go argue that call",,,,,,,, so Dbacks looked up, saw his runner coming off the field, and immediately charged the umpire,,,,,,,, when he got nose-to-nose with the ump, he politely asked the ump "what happened"? :laugh4:

where U-R-Out immediately tossed him from the game. Not for yelling or anything, but because he dripped ketchup on U-R-Out's new umpire shirt

    True Story

Coach Rummage from the Pineville Legion team hurt his ankle during warmups, so he had dbacks coaching 3rd.

A player for Pineville was on 2nd and the ball was hit in the hole of the 2nd baseman. The runner took off and looked for dbacks for the sign. Apparently, dbacks waved him home and the guy was out by 15 feet.

It was a tight game and Rummage was fuming not understanding why dbacks sent the runner home when the ball never left the infield. Dbacks said, "I didn't. I was swatting away these bees that were attacking my arms. He must have thought I was waving him home." Rummage said, "Wow..I understand. Dang bees might have cost us the game". dbacks said, " Yep...but I probably should have finished my hot dog before he reached 2nd base."

    Dbacks........ya gotta love him!!!!!!

    YET nuther true story...

First time I ever met Dbacks was at the state tournament, he was standing outside the fence beyond 1stbase eating a hotdog (of course). As I was about to ask him which team he was with,,, all of the sudden, the batter singled, he swallowed the rest of his hotdog whole, said "gotta go", jumped the fence, and went out to coach 1st base.

    No lie...

    Dbacks- an important baseball question:

Outside of Grandma B's pork chop sammiches, where have you found the best concession food.

TJ....tell the truth now, that was a pretty impressive move! I finished the hotdog, scaled the fence and still was in the Coaches box as to not miss a signal.

Do you guys have any idea of how long it takes to perfect those type coaching skills....:2thumbsup:

Dbacks- I noticed that umpires use a brush to clean the plate. If they have their own strike zone, why do they do that? Why not brush the areas that they use for strikes?:jester:
