ASA NATIONALS

    it always strikes me as kind of funny when Texas is said to be in a region... heck! As big as Texas is, it IS a region!

    You are so right and Texas has the national berths to prove it. I think they have close to 20 for the state!

    The Association with the most berths is Southern California (NOT CALIFORNIA), just So Cal with 13. Now Texas, like California, has several ASA Associations due to its size, so as a State, they may have 20, but the Association with the most is So. Cal.

    They get 1 berth for the 1st 1,000 teams and 1 more berth for every 500 more that they have registered in the previous year. So you do the math and figure out how many teams are registered ASA in just the Southern Cal area.

    Want more berths, get more teams to sign up for ASA. Spread the word! It is total registered teams. A, B, C, GOLD, recreational league teams, every team counts.

    Due to the growth in popularity in Georgia, we added another berth for 2009 and now have 5 and were 45 teams short of getting a 6th.
