I know of one person who has been inducted into the NC ASA Hall of Fame. He's probably going to be upset with me for drawing attention this, but he deserves it.

Ray Chandler of the Cardinals is credited for getting fastpitch started in NC. Not to mention the hundreds of young ladies with the Cardinals and other teams he has helped achieve their dreams of college softball over the years.

    Wow

I didn't know Ray was inducted into the ASA Hall of Fame in 2003. That's a Great honor and I wished someone would have posted it when it happen.Belated Congrats to Ray he is a wonderful coach. There are a lot of coaches out there that helped get fastpitch going in North Carolina. If it wasn't for all the coaches that help change to fastpitch who knows we maybe still playing slow pitch. Thank you to all that did have a part in that and in my book I think all of them are Hall Of fame.
