Ready for some High School Baseball

Man....I'm soooo ready to watch some high school baseball. My son is in the 11th grade now. He had a real good year last year, which includes a complete game no hitter. He had several other games with no hits but only pitched four or five innings. He also hit a walk off homer to beat an arch rival team. But even with the success last year. This year will be a new beginning. He transferred to another high school, so this will be an interesting year. He has grown so much since August! February 27th can't come fast enough!
Good luck to everyone else's favorite high school baseball team!

    Let's get this party started

Watched my first 8 man practice this past Friday and the boys looked good for this early in the year. I just came in from a round of BP with my son and what a beautiful January afternoon, prefect for baseball. I can't wait for the games to begin. Good Luck to all and may all be safe.

Allow me to say a few things:

    - We have come a long way since being concerned about identifying one's school or one's son. Everybody on here cheers for all of your sons. It used to be that some posters were concerned about posting their son's name on here for fear of being accused of "false bravado" or of being attacked. First of all....that ain't going to happen. Second, all of us want to share in your son's success. I get as much pleasure reading of a poster's son accomplishing something great, than I do if he was my own son.

So, in the future, please identify the school that you are referring and mention your son if he accomplishes something that is deserving. Does that mean that he should be the stud on his team? Nope...he may be or he may be the 15th player on the team. BUT, if he did something that you are proud of ...mention him. He deserves it!
