    The Milligan Lady Buffs have won three in a row and now wait for the losers bracket to finish. In order of play;
    Milligan 3, Union 0
    Milligan 3, TN. Wesleyan 0
    Milligan 1, Virginia Intermont 0

    Again they their fate in their hands all they need to do is execute. Got to watch them play yesterday 5/5, Their focused, determined and all business. My DD didn't want to kid around so I took the hint and hung out with the other WDs, WMs and sisters and bros and the wonderfully large and loud cheering section. For the tournament my Freshman is 3 for 8, 1 walk, 3RBIs, 3 runs scored. All the Freshman are playing well Off. And Def., Just 1 error in the three games. Am going tomorrow to see the finals, will post the results when I get home. Learned from some of the old hands if they win the tournament, their second place season finish plus their 41-14 record they might get a #1 seed in regionals :banana: GO LADY BUFFS :banana:

    Update

    Milligan (2) defeats Virginia Intermont (6) 1-0 to advance to the championship round.

    Brevard (5) defeats UV Wise (1) 1-0

    Virginia Intermont vs Brevard at 12:00. Winner to play Milligan for ACC Conference championship at 2:00

    Go LADY BUFFS :applause:

    The Milligan Lady Buffs defeated Virgina Intermont 1-0 to claim the AAC Conference championship today. :applause: With the win they also earned the #1 seed in Region XII tournament in Athens TN. next week. Brandy Waddle JR P, Shelby Banion SR C, Traci Harrison JR P and Sarah Smith FR SS were named to the all conference team. Brandy Waddle (Milligan) was named the AAC Player of the year and Coach Wes Holly (Milligan) was named AAC Coach of the year. :applause: WD is honored his DD had the opportunity to play ball with this fine group of ladies and this task master coach :xyzthumbs On to the regionals and GO LADY BUFFS
