    Michael Melchiore. This kid played for the Durham Diamondbacks when they were killing people in usssa and aau. I remember playing them for 12u and this kid was bringing it mid 70's. I also heard stories of how he hit a line drive through a fence. Haven't heard his name anywhere in recent memory just wanting to know if any of you guys could help me out. Thanks.

    Northern Durham

    Michael is a senior at Northern Durham High School. He was slowed a little from shoulder surdery after his soph. year. hasn't pitched in awhile, probably a corner guy this year for the Knights. Still swings a pretty good bat though. Who'd you play for Woody? I coached those Diamondback teams. He was a good hitter but I never saw him hit one through a fence...until less it was a split rail.

    I played for the NC Cardinals (formerly Kville cardinals) for the spring then the team broke up and i played for the NC baseball Academy under coach Jim Freetly and Chris Kahler. I played with NCBA from 12u-15u
