    what the state record for most consecutive wins was before Independence broke it? I'm thinking that Albemarle must be getting close to passing that number too.

    I think Greensboro Page won something like 46 or 48 in a row back in the 80s. I seem to remember it being mentioned when Indy passed it a couple of years ago. So yeah Albemarle is getting close.

    Here you go....check out this link it will give you what you want, it's not updated with Independence new record but it will give you Page's record of 46 plus other information. Interesting that Page is listed as 46 games of consecutive unbeaten, but not having 46 consecutive wins...did they have a tie mixed in there? :huh:

    I guess they did have a tie in there. I'm not sure when they started playing overtime instead of letting games end in a tie.
