    impactbaseball has announced that West Forsyth RHP Inf Adam Griffin has verballed to the Tar Heels. Griff is a 2011 grad and is a super talented player. Adam is the third 2011 Dirtbag to verbal so far joining George Carter "UNC" and Mikal Hill "USC".

    Congrats to Adam and his family.

    "There are two players that won't surprise me that they will commit early. They are extremely talented:

    - Brett Austin catcher Providence HS; Big kid, great power, strong arm

    - Adam Griffin P/Position player West Forsyth Absolutely can bring heat as a pitcher, but has a matching stick. One of the best hitters in the state. I've noticed Coach Pope smiling more lately.

    I really like these two players and expect to hear something soon on them."
