RS kills McDowell, 54-26. Kincaid goes for over 300 yards for the second straight game. I bet he would trade the majority of them for a W. McDowell gives up about 60% 3rd down conversions for the season. Teams may start taking a knee on 1st and 2nd down just to get to third down where the can actually do something. I don't get it

I think that was the final. I left with a couple minutes to go and SC had the ball. The coaching staff is doing a great job with this team. Play calling has been very good the last 2 games. They are really mixing it up and not just using up one player. The defense is as good as we have had in a while. Only real weakness is our kicking game but that is getting better. Some teams in the nw4a better look out this year. Many had picked South to finish last this year but that won't happen. Could go as high as 3rd

The Blue Devils debuted their brand new field turf and finally played a home game after two straight road affairs to open the season. But this game was marred by penalties in the first half. The officials must have known that they were being graded by the state and the first half took one and a half hours to play due to the plethera of flags on both teams. anyways........

    1st Quarter
M- Knox, 1 yd run, XP good, 7-0
M - Allison 30 yd pass from Crucetti, XP good, 14-0

    2nd Quarter - No Score - 14-0 @ the half

    3rd Quarter
    M - Allison 25 yd run, XP good 21-0

    4th Quarter
C - Hayes 42 yd pass from Craft, XP good, 21-7
M - Pinkston 2 yd run, XP no good, 27-7

Mooresville had 3 TD's called back due to flags but snared 5 picks on the night(Parker, West, Hobbs, Carnes, Bruner) - a fumble recovery and a blocked punt (Allison).

McDowell was outweighed, outcoached, outsmarted, outmuscled, outplayed, and out-anything. I was very impressed with R-S QB DeSean Littlejohn and his RB's Todd Wilkins and #44...They played pure smashmouth football and McDowell's small defense couldn't stop them.
