Can say over the years I have had about a dozen of those in my career, and you know what? Didn t influence or change my decsion one bit. I Hoestly think or can think in each case I was the right person and made the right decision except maybe , just maybe once! Either way it was MY job and MY team so I go to sleep never ever feeling ill about the lineups I made and still do even now!

A few. I think that the mommies and daddies out there should take note. You let your kid play the game because he wants to. I was once told by a wise old third base coach, "If you do not like what I do, get your own team and I will play you." This was after I did the daddy suggestion. Hard words but true. Old and wiser now. We get caught up with our kid we sometime forget that it is a team sport. I sure if you were to ask parents at a ball game how their kid is doing they could tell you just about everything that hem had done to that point. Then ask about how the other players have done. You may get I did not see that or I missed it. At best you likely get a summary of everyone else on the team and it would be a lot less in length than when they spoke of their kid. On a team you have nine players on the field each has a certain place with certain duties. The line up is based on how to get a player on, move him and score. At every level of the game each player has their own level and there will always be someone better.
