3rd Year in a Row for the CPC

With North Davidson and East Rowan winning yesterday and advancing to the 4A 3rd round, this is the 3rd year in a row 2 CPC teams have played at this point in the playoffs. The winner of this game will head to Raleigh and it is great to know that another CPC team will be there in the state final 4. The past 2 years it has been West Forsyth and North Davidson playing to go to Raleigh and it was almost those same 2 teams for a third straight year.

There were actually 3 CPC teams in playing yesterday, but with West Forsyth and East Rowan playing each other, that meant one would be going home. The young West Forsyth team just came up a little short (2-1) against a very talented pitcher in Morgan Peeler and determined East team.

Congrats to the CPC and good luck to whoever makes it to Raleigh from the CPC.

Bmac1 , my sentiments exactly.It shows the CPC has a competitive conference, with 4 teams making playoffs, 3 making 2nd round.It is a shame 1 will go home Friday nite.It was great meeting you also, tell Brittany good luck this summer with Cards,maybe the Cobras will get to play you guys this yr, we want to play the best.Cards, LBlues,& Cougers we would like to play.The only way to get better!
