I agree that runs shouldn't determine that, they did have 10 teams on that side so, they played 18 conference games

tools, thanks for the clarification. And I realize it don't really matter about homefield,,,, except we just need to know whether to get folks over at our stadium to work a home game or not (ie gate, concessions, etc).

Just my :twocents: I'm not a fan of bashing coaches..it's a tough job and you will never please everyone, nor should you care to. Having said that, second guessing a coach is different. It's a time honored tradition that goes back to Doubleday.

K-Town Yankee is a long time supporter of Kannapolis Legion baseball. He is very passionate about his team and loves everything about them. When one invests their emotions 100% in a team, it can lead to frustrations. I believe K-Town expressed those emotions honestly, but in hindsight, wished he had saved his thoughts about the coaches to himself....of course I may be wrong :)

I bet most of you have shaken your head about a perceived "idiotic" blunder by a coach...but who hasn't? I would ask in the future, to save those comments for the sports bars or PMs...where we are all great coaches.

I like Kannapolis' chances...I have since day one when I saw their roster. They are loaded with senior oriented players. This next series will be interesting whether it is Stanly or Asheboro.Brian Little has turned into a major piece of the puzzle. If he continues to give them quality innings I really like the Wojans chances.

I feel the Concord legion team is headed in the right direction.Their new coach went with youngsters this season. You could see they have some talent.I look for them to make a lot of noise next season.

    Where is Randolph County?

Anyone have directions to Randolph County field? Their game last nite must have been a barn-burner.......maybe K-town can take advantage of some tired arms. It is still gonna be a tough series.

Randolph County plays their home games at McCrary Park in Asheboro, sorry don't have directions at this time and will be busy today. Try mapquest, otherwise I'll try to post directions later tonight. Still no word on who's playing at home on Wednesday, but the decision is expected soon as the series definitely starts on Wednesday.

    Btw K63,,,,,,, your website www.kannapolisfootball.com is awesome...:229031_ha

*** Check Area Finals thread for directions to both ballparks...
