    CB Aycock (18-8) @ West Brunswick (16-8)
    Eastern Alamance (20-8) @ Northeast Guilford (21-7)

CB Aycock and Eastern Alamance are both hot and won all of their games on the road....should be 2 very good ball games Tuesday night!

It was a good one karl....West responded to CB Aycock's run and a lead-off walk in the 7th lead to the tying run score...very good ballgame! Good luck to CB Aycock in the Eastern Finals!

Zack Littell (junior- App State) threw his second complete game of the playoffs, 10 strikeouts I think. Nick Monroe (UNCW) should be set to go on Thursday night and was ready to come in if Littell ran into trouble.

EA jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first before NE answered with one of their own. Eagles got an unearned run in third and then had a 3 run 5th capped by a two run homerun to go up 6-1. NE answered with three of their own to make it 6-4.

NE gets the tying runs on base in the seventh, but Littell made a diving catch on a soft pop up to end the game.

If your an Aycock guy, there's no way to think your hosting the 4th round after finishing 4th in your conference... and here it is. Due to hosting priority, it looks like Aycock host EA for game one thursday night.

As these teams know well, it doesn't matter how you start the season, it only matters how you finish it.

Aycock lost out in the 1st round of the ECC Tourney, so everybody around here is surprised. Charles Davis always has his teams prepared thou.
